It is a combined Liability cover providing the following Liability risks:

  • Multimedia Liability (Publication, production, broadcast, communication etc)
  • Cyber Liability (ie on line)
  • Advertising Liability
  • Professional Indemnity (Civil Liability)
  • Loss of Documents ($500,000)
  • Withdrawal Expenses ($100,000) (document withdrawal & destruction)
  • Public & Products Liability

 

It also includes the following extra benefits:

  • Costs Exclusive limits and excesses (legal costs are not part of the sum insured or the excess payable)
  • Automatic Reinstatement of the Multimedia liability section
  • Extended Reporting Period (claims arising from the policy period can still be made during this period)
  • Continuous Cover clause (enables a matter that was missed being reported to be included in the new period of cover)
  • Vicarious Liability cover for consultants, contractors & agents (claims where you are implicated because you organised these)

 There are also options to include:

  • Fidelity (fraud & embezzlement of money by employees)
  • Predecessors in business (pick up the risks of other people who may have owned or been in the business)

 If you perform the abovementioned activities, this is the ideal policy to cover the liability exposures for your proposed business. However, there are still other covers related to the business that are not included here including Management Liability and Property cover (for Fire, Storm, Burglary and Accidental Damage) that you should also consider.

We were pleased to be advised this week that we are a finalist in the Australian Insurance Industry Awards in the category of Most Outstanding Authorised Representative Business for 2019.

Our company very much appreciates the accolade and just being nominated is prestigious to us. The awards ceremony is in August and we will see how we go, but being in the Top 4 is a credit to our team who have worked tremendously hard in the last eight years.
